It is in this season that various towns organise mycological reunions, with excursions in the hills, exhibitions, lectures and gastronomic events..

Photographic or story-telling contests, and even an International Puppet Festival make up the programme for October in Eibar.

In November there is still time for another fiesta and it is then that Eibar celebrates the festivity in honour of its patron, San Andrés (Saint Andrew), with a packed programme that culminates on the 30th with the agricultural fair and a cod-cooking contest. Throughout the month a shooting championship with old-fashioned front-loading firearms is held, in which participants wear clothes of the epoch. Ermua also holds its agricultural fair on the day of San Martín.

Gaztainerre eguna, on the second Monday after All Saints Day, is traditionally celebrated with a dinner of snails and chestnuts in most gastronomic clubs.

On the day of Santa Cecilia, Ermua holds a march-past of Choirs, Eibar a mass Serenade while in Deba local music groups offer a range of performances.

On the first Saturday of December Mendaro organises the "Feria de la Concepción", with agricultural produce, livestock and handcrafts on display. Mutriku in turn celebrates the "Feria de Santo Tomás" and Elgoibar, on the last Saturday of the year, holds the popular "Feria de Gabon Zar", while Deba organises an End-of-Year concert.
